This course covers the practices in data science from a variety of perspectives. Data science is a multidisciplinary field that studies the phenomena in data. The field unifies mathematics, statistics, computer science, information science, and domain knowledge. This course specifically focuses on the topics related to machine vision. Topics covered in this course include: 1) advanced python programming, 2) data analysis, 3) data visualization, 4) image processing, 5) machine learning, and 6) deep learning. Programming assignments will be given. Students will also work on a final project.
